My ex-wife's husband has dragged its feet for years and finally will have their next property agreement month. I had a lot of marital debt, which my husband serves his account since the separation, she has not contributed any kind. It has now reached the "bankruptcy" to avoid paying their share, so obviously my husband should be fully responsible for the debt. They a major investment that is enough money to pay this debt martial hope that the judge's order that civil debt is erased with this money. Did you this happen? Part of the reason that filed for bankruptcy because they got into debt with lawyers trying to keep my husband to have visits with their children. But I am assuming that this debt will be considered …. debt after the split, which My husband should not be held responsible for ?………….. Am I right in thinking that?
As far as I know (and this is just my opinion) Regulations ownership, access and custody issues separate. The debts in a marriage are the responsibility of both parties, although some will remain "at home" to the attention of children. Is there a term in the law as "debt after separation? Do not think that if anyone could claim this as a defense against pay your way.
