Are there any good Chicago Family Lawyers that will do pro bo no work?
You would sooner get Teddy Kennedy to stop drinking and boning DC waitresses than to get a free Lawyer for a family law case.
Why?
Family law is very lucrative, people will beg borrow and steal to keep their kids. (If you’re a good looking woman, you might think about some other type of commodity you can use)
Family law is very long and drawn out and can go on for years, no way a lawyer is gonna piss away a few years worth of work.
Family law does not get your lawyers face on Court TV. Nobody cares except you, there is no fame for The Lawyer, like a big death penalty case. Getting his name in print or his face on TV means more clients down the road. Not gonna happen in your family law courtroom.
